Reno offers a wide range of housing options including single-family homes, condominiums, golf homes, country club homes, active adult retirement communities, manufactured homes, modular housing and custom builders who will build "on your lot".
A majority of the houses/dwellings were established between 1960 and 1984. Some newer homes were built after 1985. A number of well established older homes were built between 1940 and 1959, while a few historic homes were constructed prior to 1939.
According to the Reno-Sparks Association of Realtors, the average price of homes sold during the January 1 thru June 30, 2006 period was $380,584. This was up from $358,409 during the same period in 2005.
