Communities
Reno has 32 neighborhoods. A few of these notable communities include Arrowcreek, Black Springs, Damonte Ranch, Downtown Reno, Golden Valley, Lawton, Lakeridge, Lemmon Valley, Raleigh Heights, Reno East Central, Reno Northeast, Reno Northwest, Reno West, and Sun Valley.
Southwest Reno has always been considered one of the most desirable areas in Reno. The neighborhoods in this part of the City are comprised of everything from small, warm brick homes to more rural spreads found near Lakeridge and Arrowcreek. Homes in the Southwest are also some of the more expensive in the area, and often include more land along with the house.
Neighborhoods in Northwest Reno contain many newer homes. Historically, it has been one of the fastest growing neighborhoods. The housing is affordable and the schools are top notch.
Northeast Reno is a smaller region located west of Highway 395 and north of Interstate 80, bordering the North Valley neighborhood. Low housing prices and a wide selection give this neighborhood a variety of housing options.
